Margrave Residence, Ansbach
![]() The Ansbach Ensemble comprising the margrave residence, state gallery, court garden and orangery is definitely worth a visit. The residence developed from a late medieval complex, which received it's current form in the 18th century. In the Gothic hall of the Ansbach residenz, there is an important collection of Ansbach porcelain and ceramics. Also worth seeing are the ceiling fresco of the ballroom, the picture gallery which includes works of the rococo and paintings from the former margrave gallery and the Meißen porcelain collection in the Mirror Cabinet.
